Purpose

The purpose of KEY4NHD is to provide guidance, insights, and helpful tips to students participating in the NHD competition. As a past winner in the school, county, state, and national level, I share my experiences to help others succeed.

By having uniform availability of reliable information, students won't have to feel lost or overwhelmed when going through the NHD process.

About Me
My name is Serena Goyal and I am a Senior at River Hill High School.
When I competed in the National History Day Competition, I placed Top 5 in the World after winning at the County & Maryland State Competitions.
I received Official Citations of Recognition from Howard County Executive, Calvin Ball, MD State Senator, Guy Guzzone, and The Maryland General Assembly House of Representatives & Senators at the MD State House in Annapolis.

I strive to use the lessons I learned to not only assist already motivated students to excel, but also inspire all history students to research, learn, and produce great NHD projects!
